At the Supreme Court Henry Curry was convicted of bigamy, _ having gone through a form of marriage with a woman at Christchurch while his wife was living in Australia. Ho was sentenced to three months’ hgrd labour. , ' \ AUCKLAND, Doc. 17. A telegraph lineman named Alexander Anderson, while at work on a ladder up Eden Terrace, came into contact with a high tension wire. Ho was killed instantly, and a companion on whom he fell was slightly injured.
