RAILWAY SERVICES.
(Pee Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCIfc Nov. 19. At a representative meeting of town and country residents the following resolution was carried : “That this large and representative meeting of Christchurch residents strongly protests against the delay in restoring the daily through express service between Christchurch and Invercargill, and strongly supports 7the Canterbury Progress League in its demands lor the immediate institution of the service.” It was also decided to draw the attention of the Minister of Railways to the urgent necessity for the’ improvement of tho railway and couch services between Christchurch and Greymouth. ■ ' ' . -
