GOLF TOURNAMENT.
PALMERSTON PLAYERS' SUCCESSES. (Vxv Prt-RH AfISnOTAIWN.I NEW PLYMOUTH, April 21. The golf championships are now in the semi-final stage. Grant Sim, W. Seifert, Prydo, the Saunders brothers, Parkes and' H. L. Young beat their opponents in the morning. In the afternoon G. Saunders beat Prydo 2 up and 1, H. L. Young beat Parkes 5 up and 4, I. Saunders beat Robertshawe 3 up and 1, and W. Seifert beat Grant Sim 1 up. Young played a fine game on a trying course .with a testing wind, and went round in 83, Walter Seifert getting an 85. Young is drawn to play G. Saunders, and Seifert plays I. Saunders in semi-finals to-day.
