KAIRANGA RIVER BOARD.
mAt a meeting of the Palmerston NorthKairanga River Board, held this morning, then; were present Messrs H. Alters (chairman), J. O. Batcliclar, and K. Green. GENERAL RATE. No objection having been received to the proposed rate, it was resolved, on the motion Mr Batchelar, to strike a general rate on a graduated scale on the unimproved values of all lands in the River Board district other than those classed ’ as * oI ‘ lows On lands classed “A,” 10-16lhs of a penny in the £ ; class “B.” 6-16fha of a penny; and class “C,” 4-16ths of a penny, the rate bring payable in one sum on the 7th December, 1918. Accounts amounting to £l9 Is 4d were passed for payment.
