Tho book examiner's report upon the books of the lodges in tho district were read by the G'.S. —Reports adopted on the motion of Bros, Copeland and Russell. On tho motion of Bros. Moraii and Ashmore, Bros. Liddle, Watson, Deacon and Espiner were appointed to report upon a claim for sick pay made by a member of u lodge. Permission was granted' to the Loyal Ohakune Lodge to alter the night of their meeting on the. motion of Bros. Espiner and Sharman.

A quantity of correspondence was read and received.

It, was reported that the valuation for tho period ended December 31, 1915, was not yet available. The Registrar wrote stating that the valuation for tho Wanganui District would not be available until 'he whole of the valuation for the New Zealand branch was completed. The Loyal Hautapu Lodge applied for permission to combine the office of secretary and treasurer. —Agreed to on the molion of Bros. Sharman and Saunders.

Ilros. Sharman and Liddle reported upon the special meeting of ihe B.M.G. held in Wellington in connection with the question of sick pay to members whilst on active service.—The representatives were accorded a hearty vote of thanks on Ihe motion of Bros. Espiner and Nix. The mooting, which commenced at S p.m., adjourned at 10.45 p.m. till the following Thursday morning. The visitors were entertained by Ihe Loyal Manchester Lodge at supper.
