REGIMENTAL QUARTERMASTER'S EVIDENCE.
(Peb Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Fob. 14. Before the Defence Expenditure Oornmission to-day H. J. Mulholland, Regimental Quartermaster ami Sergeant of the R.N.Z.A., gave evidence as to tho instructions and the scale of allowances. He .stated it cost him £'9 yearly to purchase equipment for which 24s was allowed him. He said lie did not care to say anything further, as it might prejudice him with liTs superior officers. His evidence was adjourned' till to-morrow.
