THE AMERICAN TROOPS IN FRANCE.
ATTEMPTED RAID BT GERMANS. Received November 13, 9.0 a.m, WASHINGTON, Nov. 12. Despatches from Franco state American troops and supplies are arriving 111 increusiriK' numbers, the U-boats have not claimed a single life, and conditions in the American.; sector continue normal with intermittent axtillorying. It is reported that 200 Germans attempted to r.ftid the American trench on the „i|fht of .November 9, but completely failed and sniftered some losses.
