PALMERSTON SESSIONS. (Before His Honour, Mr Justice Chapman.) The November sessions of the Palmerston Supreme Court were opened this morning, when a light calendar was presented. GRAND JURY. The following Grand Jury was empanelled • F. J. Nathan (foreman), Inpmas Griggs, A. W. Browning, W. Bcndall, K. Clere, W. M. Bayly, J. T. Burrcll, J. Goring Johnson. A. Ifannay 11. J._ Canton P. J. Wilson, M. Hodgins, 11. U. Cully. 1L Akers, E. Pool, W. T. Penny, R \ Fuller, A. llonorc, P. Garnty, J. Rainforth, J. 11. Miller and A. Morgan. HIS HONOUR'S CHARGE.

In charging the Grand Jury, his Honour said he was pleased to tell them that they would not be heavily burdened by the duty that would bo imposed upon them. 11 is Honour said he had presided at three sessions of the Supreme Court, in Palmerston All had-been light- sittings. At the lassession there had only been one criminal case, and this time there was one also. This action arose out-of a group o cases against Evan Williams and George Reeves, who hid carried on business as dairy facy ropno on. at Woodville. Both men had -one bankrupt, and they were now charged on three counts with .criminal offences in connection with their bankruptcy. It was for tin; Grand Jury to consider if there were prima facie charges to answer. TRUE BILL. The Grand Jury returned true bills on each count, and the hearing was adjourned till to-morrow morning on the g 1 of Mr Robertshaw, counsel for WiUmnib.
