FLOODS IN NEW SOUTH WALES.

It lias been _ abnormally wet during November, with widespread soaking rains after a fortnight of showery weather. Crop and fruit prospects generally are excellent. floods are reported on the North Coast, 200 houses being submerged at Lismore, and much damage done to crops, cattle, and property. A family ot five persons were drowned in the flood waters at Bcllingen, and a woman was washed off a bridge at Woollongong and drowned. The inhabitants of North Lismore were compelled to take refuge on the roofs of their houses. A man was drowned, and enormous losses of stock arc reported.
