CHRISTCHURCH SHOW.
(Pfr Pbebr Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 8. The Canterbury Agricultural Show opened to-day in perfect weather. There is a large crowd of people in the city from all parts of the Dominion, and the attendance is well up to tho average, though moderate compared with tho Crowd expected to-morrow. Entries totalled 1124, compared with 1090 last year, and 1909 two years ago. Ihe falling off is chiefly accounted for ill the drop in the sheep classes.
