GERMAN SPEED BOAT DESTROYED. MORE ENEMY SHIPS SUNK. BRITISH DESTROYERS’ ENGAGEMENT. LONDON. Nov. 5. Tho Admiralty reports that an electrically controlled high speed boat attacked our patrols on tho Belgian coast. The attack was defeated and the boat destroyed. COPENHAGEN, Nov. 3. On Friday morning the German auxiliary cruiser Marie, of 3000 tons, met British’ destroyers 12 miles north of Kullen. Tho Marie opened lire and the destroyers replied. In ten minutes the Marie was afire. Thirty of tho crew were killed and the remainder took to the boats. A Danish steamer brought 17 wounded to Copenhagen, including the captain, who said his vessel had four guns and a crew of 90, and were suddenly attacked. The shells descended with such rapidity that his men were unable to work the guns, and only fired a few shots before the Marie was a mass of flames. The destroyers ceased firing and rescued about 30. Other reports of the light say that it lasted four hours, and four or five armed German trawlers participated. I heir fate is unknown. LONDON, Nov. o.

The Admiralty reports that our naval forces operating in the Kattegat have apparently been engaged with the enemy forces, probably patrols. Tho official information only intimates that certain of our vessels have been detached to bring in prisoners and aro ncaring their bases. A later report, states that the forces operating in the Kattegat destroyed an auxiliary cruiser armed with six-inch guns and also ton armed patrols. Sixty-four prisoners were rescued. Survivors of the German auxiliary cruibor, landed at Hclsingboro. declare that their boat, disguised as a merchantman, was sunk bv gunfire by a solitary British submarine." The latter then signalled tincrews of the trawlers to abandon their ships. When tho crews were safe in the lifeboats, the submarine, sank all the trawlers by gunfire.
