The Government Meteorologist wired today: The indications are for northerly, morerate to strong winds, and freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness, for an unfavourable change in t-lia weather in the middle of the week. Barometer falling shortly.
