The sheep entry consisted oi .some good quality hoggets, which mel with good competition, prices in all instaneos exceeding vendors' reserves. At the firm's Pahiatua sale on Tuesday, 30th, a small entry of stock came forward. In sheep the most entries failed to reach vendors' reserves, and little business resulted. In cattle there was a good demand for springing heifers and good dairy cows, and sellers would be well advised to market this class oi stock at an early date.
