MEMORIAL CHURCH BAZAAR.

.The bazaar in aid of the new Catholic: Memorial Church, which is being held in Puller’s Hall, was odieially opened last night by the Mayor. Father McManus thanked Mr Nash for his attendance, and referred to his good work in connection with all patriotic movements and functions that had for their objects.the advancement of the town. During the evening there was a very largo attendance, anil a brisk business was done at the various stalls, while games and competitions of all kinds added considerably to the evening’s enjoyment. A concert programme was contributed by Mesdaiucs Bailey, Nash, Miss Hanlon. Pyts. Lane, Kearney and Mr Woollett, and prior to the opening the Municipal Band played a number of .selections.
