The big halls arc also rapidly filling up with the butter and home industries sections, while, the art and Inchmeal schools' divisions are being arranged in preparation for the. judging, which starts to-morrow. The public schools' divisions aro being judged to-day by Mr G. M. Elliott, A.M., who comments favourably on the work. Tho entries in this division are exceptionally gratifying, showing the very fine total of 1122, as compared with 926 for last year. The grand total of entries for this year is 3312. The falling "off in dogs is accounted for by the fact that a very large percentage of the breeders are now on active service, nearly all the canine pets having been entered by relatives of the owners this year.
