CONGREGATIONAL SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.

Tlie anniversary social and prize-giv-ing of Congregational Sunday School took place in the .schoolroom last evening, when there was iv very large at--1 tendance of scholars and parents. An ample tea. which■ wgts; provided by the ladies of the Church, was partaken of by the children, alter which a concert evening and prize-giving- took place. The Rev. Mac Donald Asplancl presided. The annual report slated that the roll number was about the same as last year, the average attendance' being •15. Fifteen scholars .succeeded in gaining prizes during the.year. The school sobered a serious loss during the year in the person of sjrs Roe, who has neon a member for the past 15 years, and site has been greatly missed by her fellow teachers. At the commencement of the year an individual register system was introduced, so as to give the parents a knowledge of how Die children stood in (heir classes, and now that the system is in working order the cards will he taken home once a month by the scholars for (he parents’ perusal.
