ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
A motor lorry which was taking a full load of people to the races at Tronthain on Monday morning ran into a bank at the side of the road and overturned. Several of the passengers sustained slight injuries. A collision occurred on the Hutt road, near Kaiwarra, on Monday morning, between a motor lorry and a taxi-cab. 1 110 car, which was laden with passengers for the races, was considerably damaged.
