Af a meeting of th< Superannuated Railway-men's Association it was pointed out that some of its members were receiving lcs& than an old ago pensioner, and the following resolution was carried: —"That this meeting of supei-annuaL.il railway-men protests against the increased cost, of living, I which is making il diflicull for many to gel the necessaries of life, and we regret I the action of the Government and I'arliii j meat in refusing our petition for u. bonus. We therefore ask the Government to rreonsidcr our petition, and grant us some relief until the cost of living becomes normal.
