Show entries are now finally closed, and the' list discloses an advance on last year, which exceedingly gratifying, as there ia no getting away from the fact that the labour difficulty is now making itself very severely felt. This was found to bo the case in Hawke's Bay. so that taking this into account the result must be considered exceedingly satisfactory. Applications for space are "also very numerous, and quite a Dumber of new ideas will be shown, amongst others being a caterpillar tractor, the laicrest of its kind in the Dominion, and similar to those being used for hauling the heavy guns in the war ureas. This principle of propulsion is the system used on the famous tanks, and the exhibit should prove of greaG interest i" visitors. The pounds are m excellent heart, and all tharis now required for complete sticcos is fine weather.
