The Chairman of the M to Z Committee of the House of Representatives (Mr W J Dickie) reported to tho House last night that the committee had considered the petition of E. A. Wilson and 53 others, ol Wuikiekie, praying for the conscription or internment of all alien enemy labour, lie Committee recommended that the report be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. . In reply to a question by Mr Robert Fletcher, tho Hon. A. L. Herdman said that this matter had been dealt with in legislation introduced to the House that night. -
