After hearing Mr Grayndler (secretary of the Shearers' 1 Union) the members ol tho Board expressed dissatisfaction at the evidence placed before them. Tho opinion was '.expressed that the most remarkable as- . pect of the whole matter was that none of the shoepowners had stated that 1 shearers were essential. The National I Efficiency Board liad recommended that 1 shearers should not be exempted, and the Minister of Agriculture had made no definite pronouncement on the subject. The ease was adjourned for two weeks, when thet/whole of the sine die 'cases will be reconsidered.
