MASTERTON CATTLE FAIR. Particulars in connection with the Masterlon'Spring Cattle Fair, tit- which 3000 head of stock will lie offered at the. To-morrow at 1. o’clock Leydon and Co. will conduct a. sale of furniture, etc., at No. 4, Roy street, on behalf of Mrs Reynolds. The firm will offer duchess chests, washstands, linoleum, chairs, Japanese mats, rugs, clock, crockery, fowls, etc. On Wednesday next, at 1 o’clock. Leydon and Co, will conduct, a. sale ol horses, baker's carls, liarncs.-. etc., on behalf of Messrs Birch Bros., at Long burn. The sale will be held on the premises,_near tin; tailway crossing, and tin; auctioneers advise that, the horses are a good, staunch lot, the carls have been overhauled recently, and the harness is m first-class repair. MART BALL, Harry Palmer and Co. report on Saturday's sale; There was a good entry! of pigs, which met with a good competition. Poultry was in better supply and prices were very good. Produce moved off in good quantities at rates. Levin and Co. report ; —Our only sales during the past week were our usual yard sales at .Bulls and Feilding. At Bulls we had a heavy yarding- of both slice]) and cattle. There was -a very large attendance of buyers, and wo'have to report a record sale. Hoggets were in very keen demand and prices realised in every case were hi excess of vendors’ ideas. Pal sheep and owes and lambs were also keenly competed for. In cattle till classes sold freely and prices showed a rise on outlast sale. At Feilding u full yarding of till classes canto forward.
