AMERICAN TRANSPORT TORPEDOED. \ustralian-New Zealand Cable Association. Received October 20, 12.35 p.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 19. An American transport has been torpedoed. ITALIAN VESSEL FIRED AND SUNK. (Router's Telegram.) LAS PALMAS, Oct. 18. A Spanish ship has brought 45 survivors of the. Italian vessel Cuprera which, with an important cargo of explosives, caught liro and sunk oil the coast of Morocco.
