l iio weekly shoot ol Hie Linton Rifle Club took place last- evening, when the third competition for the vases was fired, with the following result; —Riflemen S. Tremaine 18, \\ - Ball 18, G. Tremaine 16, Hadden lb, Henderson 16, Munro 16, Nicholls 16, Thompson 16, 0. H. Alarklaml 16, T. Edwards 14, Griffiths 14, J. Marshall 14, C. J. Page 14, A. U. Marklaud 1.2, Hodges A. Giorgi 12, luglis 12, H. Akers (president) 12, J. Freeman 10, T. Ed--lin 8, Forrest 8, D. Smillio 4. A team from the club will fire a match with the Bulls Club at Bulls to-night. The motor-car will leave the club’s hall, King street, at 6.30 o’clock sharp.
