A wireless Russian official message says: “We repulsed the attempt to capture the pier on Moem Island. Fighting on Ocscl Island continues. Tho Germans continued their disembarkation on Saturday under the protection of very large naval forces, and simultaneously several ships engaged the shore batteries on Dago Island. Our batteries sank four torpedo boats, and an enemy cruiser grounded. Tho Gorman gunfire destroyed a battery, thus enabling a small detachment to land, Imt they were unable to maintain their position, and returned to the ships. Since yesterday morning onr ships prevented the enemy entering the waters between Dago and Oesel Islands. Our torpedo boats in the Baltic destroyed eleven schooners. A wireless Gorman official message states : We are now advancing in the south-east of Oesel Island. The towns of Zerel and Arcnsburg arc on fire. THE ANGLO-DUTCH SITUATION. DUTCH SHIPPING STOPPED.
