On Hie motion of Cr. .Morrison, the request of the Timber Co. to draw heavy loads in winter time over the County roads was, held over for further consideration. In reply to Mr Ke\v, the Council decided to abide by its resolution regarding the old Town Board building, and that Mr Kew be asked to hand over the key forthwith. Air Fetch wrote complaining of a

drain on Kimholton Road, which overflowed occasionally, and Air Southey waited on the Council in support.-—Re-ferred to the Overseer to report. There is a culvert on Furlong's road, near Air Palmer’s, getting in a bad condition, and 1 have ordered timber for repairing it. linnini Riding.— A little patching inis been done on tho Pahnerston-Na-pior and the Eeilding-Ashhnrst roads. Tinny is a. timber'culvert on the- keild-ing-Asliluirst road - .which I am replacing by a concrete pipe one as soon as the weather is more favourable. The pipes are on hand for this work. 'Otangaki Riding.—A little patching has been done on the Feilding—Aslihnrst and tho Palmerston-Napier roads. These roads are now in good repair and should require very little done for some time.
