CHARGE OF CONSPIRACY.

In connection with tho shooting of a railway fireman named Green on August 25, two men wero arrested and subsequently discharged. A man named Thorburn and a woman named Roo aro now remanded on a charge of conspiring to sheet tho charge on to tho discharged men. Tho Crown Prosecutor alleged that tho accused put their heads together to secure the £IOOO reward offered in connection with the shooting.
