NEW SALVATION ARMY CITADEL.
TO BE ERECTED IN BROAD STREET. Commissioner Iloddcr has purchased, on behalf of the Palnierston corps of the Sal ration Army, a section of land in Broad street, opposite .the Zcalandia Hall, where it. is proposed to erect at an early date a new and modern citadel in whic|, the Army's growing work will be carried on. Plans of the new building are no! ye) complete, but it is. known thut- tho,\ will be erected in brick, and will comprise a large hall capable of seating 500 people, whereas the present hall onlv holds 350. There "ill also be modern Sunday school rooms, including departments for the primary, intermediate, and senior scholars. A band room and the various oflices wil] complete the structure, which .should lx> an acceptable addition to the architecture of Broad etreet.
