At an anti-conscription meeting Mr luulayson said the representatives intended to force everv member of the caucus to takesides openly on the conscription issue, and if necessary form a new' party. , The Executive of the Australian Workers Union has suspended Mr Spence. Federal M.P., from the presidency of the union, owing to his supporting conscription. MELBOURNE, Sept. 25 The Wharf Labourers’,Union demanded the resignation of Mr Hughes from the presidency of the Waterside Workers radoration. . The Trades Union Congress carried a motion calling upon the workers of Australia to hold simultaneous mass meetings on the dav the proclamation is issued calling up the home forces to decide, upon future action.
