A'i .inquest was held on George Edward C oil in?, who died on Tuesday, after being treated for a certain complaint with (he drug known as ealvarsan, or "605." In evidence, a medical man stated that he did not generally regard the remedy mentioned as specially risky. A post -mortem examination revealed that, the heart was contracted in the left ventricle, and the right side of the heart was dilated and filled with a mixture of partly fluid and partly clotted blood. Tho lungs all showed signs of oldstanding pleurisy. The effect of the remedy in this easo would he a tendency to the formation oi clots, probably due to specific conditions. A verdict was returned that deceased died from pulmonary embolism.
