(Peb Pbess Association.) DUNEDIN, March 6. At tho Methodist Conference Rev. W. ■dado was appointed foreign mission-K'-rrotary, Rev. J.. Hudson to supply or the present year. The Social Service Union held its annual meeting, dev. S. J. Sorpell was elected president, Rev. Fj. Drake secretary, and Rev. M A. Rugby 1 ratt editor of the union ■jublica tions. The order in which cerain circuits are to receive probationer vere fixed as follows: Waiuku, Wainate, Gisborne, Feilding, Taumarunui, Tavolock South, Auckland West, Mt. Albert and Kaitangata. A deputation from the Presbyterian Church waited upon the inference. Rev. J. Chisholm conveyed greetings from his denomination in a graceful fraternal speech, which was jordtally supported by Prof. Dickie and tVif. \\ att . The conference reply was voiced by Rev. J. A. Luxford arid Air H. D. Bedford.
