The Victorian estate was valued at £5490 realty, and £62.723 personalty. Some 1700 motor-cars have been imported into West Australia, and it is interesting to note that of this number 1300, approximately, are of American origin, it is estimated that there are at the present time probably some 1401) cars on the roads, and some of these are eight, nine, and ton years old, and have a prodigious mileage to their credit. More than half a dozen cars, it is believed, can boast of a performance of upwards of 100,000 miles on rough West Australian roads.
