The Sydney swimmers mado their second appearance at the Auckland carnival in the Albert Street fresh water baths last night. Results:— Relay Race: Miss Ferguson and F. Hicksoii 1, Miss "White and W. Gibbons 2.
100 Yards Championship of Auckland: ,M. Champion 1, Simon 2. Time, 1.1 3-o.
Durack Handicap, 3b' yards: Barns* 6sees, 1; Enwright, 2. Won by inches. Time. 22secs.
Goregillan Handicap for Ladies, 50 yards: Miss Durack scr, 1; Miss Farquhar 2. Time, 30secs, a New Zealand record.
Hardwick Handicap. 100 yards Campbell, 13sees, 1; Peatry, 12secs, 2 Won by two feet. Time. 1.12. Neat Header: Miss Durack 1.
Visitors' Handicap. 440 yards, final: Hardwick, scr, 1 ; Champion, scr, 2. Masters and Sinton also started. Champion and Hardwick were together almost till last two laps. Hardwick, who had gained perceptibly by greater cleverness in turning, now forged slowly ahead and won by three yards amid great excitoment. Time, 5.35.
