DR. MAWSON'S DISCOVERIES.
(Bi Elictbic Tm-igraph—Copybight.) (Pib Pbbss Association.) Received March 5, 9.30 a.m SYDNEY. March 5. Dr. McLean, the bacteriologist, and Mr Hurley, the photographer of the Mawson expedition, returned to Svdnev.
Dr. McLean said a few details were already known of what was a sad story and a long one. It was not for him to tell. When Maw-son's book came out they would read the whole thing. Amongst other important, discoveries were the nest of the Antarctic petrels, which had never before been found, six Ross seals and a verv rare specimen of whale. By dredging 'mamrare and new specimens ha/l been obtained.
