Rev. D. C. Bates wired at 9 a.m. today :—Northerly winds, etrong to gale, changing to southerly strong to gale after about '24 to 36 hours. The' weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers flooded. Barometer falling, but rising after about 24 to 36 hours.
