COLONIAL MEAT MARKET FOR LONDON.
(Bi Elictbio Telegbaph—Copybioht.) (Peb Pbess Association.) LONDON, May 27 Mr D. Collins, chairman of the Cattle Markets Committee, states that the Corporation of London is negotiating with the Government, with a view of reviving the Deptfyrd market as a centre for accumulating colonial food supplies. Besides the advantage this would be in peace time, it would render Britain independent of' foreign countries in war time.
