SPORTING.
At a meeting of tho stewards of the Woodvillo Jockey Club last week a letter was received enclosing two tickets on a horse which was second arid paid a dividend of £1 17s at the February meeting. The tickets were forwarded to tho totalizator proprietors, who refused payment owing to tlio application being nmdo so long after tho raco meeting. It was resolved to ask tho toto proprietors to pay tho dividends.
