TIDAL WAVE IN AUSTRIA.
MANY LIVES LOST. MUCH DAMAGE TO PROPERTY. (Bi Electrio Telegraph—Copyrigm, i iPer Press Association.) VIENNA, Juno 16. Following on a thunderstorm a huge wave broke over the sea front at Tricsta. The wharves were swamped and railway tramlines torn up. Eight of the Austrian Lloyd Company's boats broko their moorings and a million sterling of damage was done. A hundred were killed.
