BROACHING SHIP'S STORES.

Two seamen of the s.s. llakaia were charged with broaching cargo at Port Chalmers about April 29 and stealing four gallons of bottled whisky and a case of bottled beer (ship's stores). They were convicted, and each ordered to forfeit £4 10s, half the cost of the stolon liquor, and wore sentenced to 14 days.
