I Littl* Dora Speuce writes from the parsonage:—"Dear Mr Editor—l enclose five shillings which I have earned and would like to send to London to give a treat to six children.—Yours truly, DOHA SPENCE." All subscriptions to the above will be acknowledged in the "Standard." The object of the fund is to give waifs and strays in London a day in the country, a special effort being made for Coronation week.' ' The ■ smallest contribution will be thankfully received.
