STOLEN JEWELLERY RECOVERED.

I': The police have been advised that H Edward Jlodgers, alias Valentine TurI ner, and a woman giving her name as | Mrs Rodgers, were arrested upon the * arrival of the mail steamer from Isew 1 Zealand, having in their possession I the whole of the jewellery stolen from ! Kohn's shop in Queen street, Auck- | land, on March 19, when - the premises f were entered by a window from the i"" roof adjacent to the premises, and the '-> contents of the window and cases I cleared, despite the fact that the shop as usual was left fully lighted and [• open to thin' view of anyone passing.
