, LONDON, May 5. By two to one the Lower House of Convocation at Canterbury agreed that celebrants, with tho Bishop's consent, may, after once using the full words of administration, subsequently, use the first half of the words to each individual.
They also adopted a new, rubric, permitting the consecrated elements to be taken from open communion to sick persons' homes. Tho Houso of Laymen proposes not to touch the Prayer Book, and suggests an appendix of special services. In Convocation tho Bishop of Winchester raised as a matter of urgency a debate upon the Bishop of Hereford's invitation to Nonconformists to join in the Coronation communion at Hereford Cathedral.
The Bishop of Hereford defended himself.
The Archbishop of Canterbury disapproved of his action, and; the subject dropped. The Lower Houso hotly discussed tho subject, ;:?;;. ■
