MORE PLAGUE CASES IN AUCKLAND
TWO PERSONS AFFECTED.
THE BANEFUL RAT AGAIN.

• AUCKLAND, May 4. Two fresh cases of plague have been reported. A lad of eighteen years of age, and a young woman about 25, were admitted to the Quarantine station of Auckland Hospital' last evening, and bacteriological examination proved that both had been infected with plague. Tho source of infection has been traced to a dead, rat found in. the premises in wliich both patients were employed.
