iPICR PREBfI ASBOOIATION.I NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 7. The manager of the. Standard 1 Oil Company reports that at 3030 ft in the Carnngton Road bore he _ passed through a seam of oil and gas in sand. After drilling through the sandstone seam he is now in blue clav at 3050 feet, which he regards as highly encouraging. The bore is now clear of obstacles which long hindered drilling..
