KAWKE'S BAY LAND BOARD.
MR LANE RE-ELECTED. NAPIER, April S. The result of the election to fill the vacancy on the Hawke's Bay Land Board, caused by Mr Eustace Lane, representative of Crown tenants, forfeiting his seat by absence from meetings, was made known to-day. Mr Lane was again returned, the voting being: E. Lane '18, A. C. B. Munro 210. It will be remembered that Mr Lane, after being ejected from a meeting of the board at Gisborne, had intimated that he would not sit again until he received reparation.
