STOCK REPORT. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report ha\ing held sales at Wanganui on the 6th and at Waverlcy on the Bth inst. At Wanganui they yarded 3500 sheep and 120 cattle. The bulk of the yarding of sheep consisted of lines of f.m. ewes, for which bidding was rather quiet, a number ot lines being passed under the hammer. They, however, effected a good clearance before the close of the day, only about 600 going out unsold. Most of the cattle yarded were wcaners, which met with a ready sale. At Waverlcy they had a small yarding of sheep and 270 cattlc. They experienced a fair demand for all classes, and succeeded in quitting the bulk of the yarding. Cows of all classes were keenly sought after at prices showing an advance on late rates. Quotations: —At Wanganui —Sheep: 2-th to f.m. ewes 10s, 10s lOd, lis 3d, to lis 9d, forward ewes 9s, 9s 6d, to 10s, f.m. ewes 6s 6d, 6s lid, 7s 3d, to-8s 4d, cull awes 4s 3d, ss, to 5s 3d, small 2-th ewes and wethers 10s 9d, old wethers 9s 3d, ewe lambs 8s 4d, small lambs 5s 7d. Cattlc: Dairy-fed weancr heifers 31s to 34s 6d, wcaner steers 355, mixed wcaners 15s to 295, empty heifers £1 19s 6d, £2 4s, to £3 Is, empty cows £2 10s, forward cows £3 10s, springing cows to £5 2s 6d. At Waverlcy:-—Sheep: 2 and 4-th wethers 13s lid, 'Lincoln ewe lambs 9s 6d, mixed Lincoln lambs 7s 9d, mixed lambs 6s 2d to 6s lid, cull lambs 4s to 5s 9d, cull owes 3s 6d.
