METHODIST CIRCUIT.

The quarterly meeting of the Sanson and Rongotea Methodist circuit was held at the Parsonage on Wednesday afternoon. Representatives were present from all the places in tho circuit. The Rev. S. Frost presided. The stewards reported the income for tho circuit fund was £49 7s 4d, and the expenditure, including the debit, leaving a deficit of £11 15s 6d. The balance brought forward, £61 2s 10d, three garden parties held during the quarter realised £53 10s lid, which was voted to tho Parsonage renovation fund, and it was decided to complete the canvass for subscriptions p.nd got the work finished immediately. Tho Sanson Church anniversary realised £9 for the Trust Fund, and £2 was collected for tho Bible-class movement. The secretary was authorised to convey the hearty thanks of the meeting to the donors of the garden parties. Arrangements were made for tho holding of the Rongotea Church anniversary in April, and the foreign mission anniversary in June, the Revs. W. A. Heighway, Fiji, and C E. Bcecroft, Feilding, to address Ihc meetings. The meeting decided'to ' heartily support the projected New Zealand Methodist Times. Letters wore authorised to be sent to Messrs John Blcakley. N. Throadgold, and W. Parsons, officers of tho church who have removed during the quarter, expressing hearty appreciation of past services.

Mrs Giftord was appointed sacramental steward at Rongotea.

It was decided to hold the next meeting at Rongotea.
