PASSENGER RATES.
TO BE RAISED IN CANADA,

Apprehension is felt in Western Canada owing to the railways' proposal to advance passenger' tariffs, in consequence of the Railway Unions demanding an increase of wages, aggregating 40 per cent above the present scale of 155 per cent.
