The Hon. Frank Trask, M.L.C., dropped dead outside his residence at one o'clock to-day. He had been about tOYvn just previously, ancl was apparently in his usual health, talking to friends and Yvorking in his butcher's shop this morning in the best of spirits.
The Hon. Trask Yvas born in Somersetshire in 1840 and emigrated to ChristehuVeh in 1860. He arrived -in Nelson in 1878, and became Mayor in 1890. He was made a LegislatiY-e Councillor in 1903.
