HOCKEY.
NEW RULES. Players should note that the followingnew rules will be enforced this 6eason: — Penalty Bully.—During penalty bully all other players must be outside twentyfive yards line, not striking circle as formerly. If ball hit outside circle, then ordinary bully on twenty-five yards line. If the olFender hits it behind goal line, then penaity bully taken over again; of course, if he hits ball through goal, then a goal is scored. Penalty Corner. —Cannot be taken at a less distance than ten yards from goal post; formerly five yards. Extension of Time.—Whistle had to blow on expiration of time whether gam© was in progress or not. New rule states that if a penalty bully has been given, time must not be called until the bully is finished.
